Dice

Antler dice

This set of Roman period dice have the cup and ring mark painted with lamp black and rose madder lake pigment in egg binder.

The Roman sets have opposing faces adding up to seven, other variations are possible for other periods and cultures.

Early modern dice have the same opposing sum, but with single dots instead of the cup and ring.
