Huscarles Newsletter

Located in Newcastle, the Huscarls re-enacted the life and times of the British Isles and Western Scandinavia during the period known as the Viking Age, a period covering 800 to 1070. They portrayed a balanced image of life as it was lived a thousand years ago in the Norse and Anglo-Saxon lands with an emphasis on hands-on skills.

The Huscarls’ Newsletter coincidentally was their official newsletter. While there are rumours of occasional sightings, they are presumed to have been extinct in the wild since around 2013.

They went from print to online delivery in January 2001.
