Medieval Times

The official magazine of the Macquarie Hackers, a group formed in 1979 and lasting to 1984 at Macquarie University. They had a proper name, but it was long winded, kept changing and the acronym was immemorable, so we just called them the Hackers.

There only seems to have been one issue. I’ve padded out with other club documents

Undated constitution, probably dates from around 1980-81. The DAMAS name didn’t last long.

It’s Tuesday the 9th, but we don’t know what year. I suspect 1983. Note the name – Medieval Armours & Artizans Society. By the Conference in October 1983, they were Macquarie University Ancient & Medieval Armourers & Artisans Association.
